Musanze football club’s league match with ISAE Busogo in the second division, which was supposed to be played on Sunday, was called off and will now be played tomorrow afternoon at Ubworoherane stadium.

The Northern Province based side is still on course to be promoted to the first division. They lead Group A with 20 points; three more than Nyanza in second place and Aspej are third with 16 points.

Musanze head coach Rafiki Nshiyimana is still confident of his side’s dreams of playing top flight football next season.

"We are aiming to win tomorrow’s match, which will give us a massive boost of joining the first division next season,” he told Times Sport yesterday.

Meanwhile, Group B leaders Etincelles are also on course for promotion after a two year absence. They lead Group B with 24 points followed by UNR with 17 points and Gisovu are third with 17.
