Over 10 artistes, DJs to headline ‘Kigali Kanivore’ this Friday

OVER 10 TOP MUSICIANS from Rwanda and neighbouring countries are expected to headline the highly anticipated 'Kigali Kanivore' slated for Friday, August 5, at Camp Kigali grounds.

The festival, according to organisers of the event, is a new partying experience in Kigali which will allow revellers to connect through music and other activities such as beer pong.

Speaking to The New Times, DJ Pius, the brains behind the show, said that the event will be taking place every quarter and will be featuring renowned local artistes and regional ones.

He said that the first edition will be headlined by top Rwandan artistes including Bruce Melodie, Kivumbi King, J-Dub, Maestroboomin and Suka Ntima from Belgium.

Other headliners of the show include DJ Briane, DJ Marnaud, DJ Karim, 1K DJs, DJ infinity, DJ Diallo, DJ Kelly, Anita Pendo and first rising duo Nadege & Sharon. 

"We are looking forward to host any Kigalian who likes good music and partying. With the long line-up of DJs and artistes, there will be different styles of music playing at the venue to cater people from different kinds. It is going down this Friday!” Pius told The New Times.

There will be different stands of Nyama choma at the event and various games such as blind dates, pool table, beer pong and other entertainment activities, Pius said.

Tickets to Kigali Kanivore are already on sale at Rwf10, 000 regular, Rwf15, 000 VIP and a table of six at Rwf300, 000.
