Mozambique is to enter into education exchange programme with Rwanda, especially at the higher institutions of learning.

The development was announced on October 19 by Amour Z Kupela, the new Ambassador of Mozambique to Rwanda who will be based in Dar-salaam, Tanzania.

Kupela was among four envoys that held an interview with journalists at Hotel Novotel shortly after they had presented their credentials to President Paul Kagame on Friday at Village Urugwiro.

"We’re envisaging laying a foundation of education cooperation with Rwanda to promote youth empowerment through the scholarship scheme on both side” said Kapela.

Apart from education exchange, the envoy vowed to entice his country to learn from Rwanda what he described as a role model for anti- corruption campaign.

The strengthening of education, cultural and energy sector was also emphasized by Jacqueline Mendoza, the new Bolivarian republic of Venezuela envoy to Rwanda.

Dr.Marwa Matiko, the incoming ambassador of Tanzania to Rwanda promised that his tenure of office will focus on implementation of two countries mechanisms to end cross boarder migrants issue.

"We shall invoke on whatever mechanism that is in place to make sure Rwandans and Tanzanians are not affected by the decision undertaken about the matter” Matiko said.

While, German Z Navarrete, the new Spanish ambassador to Rwanda to be based in Dar-salaam said that his country is set to widen its aiding intervention.
