It has been a good week for the music industry as artistes blessed music lovers with new releases such as singles, collabos, remixes and new video clips for different genres.

In no particular way, we bring you new songs taking over Kigali’s air waves that you can add to your weekend playlist.

Churchill Downs Freestyle, Kenny K-shot

After blessing his fans with a surprise release featuring 1st, the Trap and Drill guru has bounced back with ‘Churchill Downs Freestyle’. The freestyle is already taking over local airwaves and televisions in Kigali.

Kenny K-Shot becomes the second Rwandan rapper to sample and remix the song originally produced by Jack Harlow and Drake after Maestroboomin.

Recorded by Zed and directed by Ligana, the freestyle can be streamed on all streaming platforms.

Demo, Ariel ways ft. Kivumbi, 1st, Sagamba and Soldier Kid

Anyone who tuned in on different local radio stations this week has certainly heard 'Demo'. The song which premiered five days ago has already been ranked among the hardest drill collabos of 2022.

The appearance of top drillers on the track with Ariel Ways vocals on the hook is another fact that is driving the song to places.

Produced by Bailey99beats and Bob pro, ‘Demo’ can be streamed on YouTube, Apple Music among other streaming platforms.

Kashe, Element

After winning the hearts of many music lovers through his production skills, the 23-year-old producer has started singing with a new release.

Dubbed ‘Kashe’, the recently released track is already topping other songs on all local streaming platforms. It is a love song produced in a fusion of zouk and Afrobeat.

Fit, 2saint ft Juno Kizigenza

After dropping ‘Mukubua’ which is still a banger, 2saint blessed music lovers with a number of features and ‘Fit’ is among them. Fit comes after ‘Fenty’ which dropped  four months ago and featured Kenny Sol. The three minute track can be also streamed on all streaming platforms.

Champion, Amalon

Amalon who in the previous years disappeared from the limelight has bounced back with a new track dubbed ‘Champion’ that might ensure his comeback.

Within only seven days, the song has managed to get close to 100, 000 views on YouTube. It might be the next summer anthem in Kigali.
