The off-season transfer market opened last month, and some clubs have been on a signing spree since. On the local scene, Rayon Sports arguably lead the race, having signed 11 players in just six weeks.

Several players in the Rwanda premier league have already switched clubs, and there many more who are likely to do so in the coming weeks.

Times Sport looks at four top players, from last season, who are almost certain they will not stay at their current teams.

Samuel Nwosu Chukwudi

The Nigerian striker was in fine form last season; netting 13 league goals despite his side Etoile de l’Est dropping to the second division.

The frontman was second on the goal king race behind Shabani Hussein (15 goals) and he has already emphasized that he would be following Etoile to the second division.

Nwosu is said to be on the wanted list of a host of teams including Gorilla FC.

Peter Agblevor

The Ghanaian striker, who also played for relegated side Etoile de l’Est, netted five goals in the just ended season with three of them coming against the top two clubs.

He netted a brace against champions APR and one strike against runners-up Kiyovu.

Agblevor is reported to be a target for Musanze FC and Gorilla FC, but a move to newly promoted side Sunrise is also a possibility.

Keddy Nsanzimfura

The youngster wants adequate playing time, which cannot be guaranteed at APR and he is bent on going out on loan.

The army side attempted to loan him to Mukura or Marines but the player insisted his preference of a Kigali-based club, a development that consequently makes Garilla FC and Gasogi United top destinations for the midfielder.

Kevin Muhire

The talented playmaker has declined an option for contract extension at Rayon Sports as he eyes a move outside Rwanda.

While no foreign suitors have expressed interest in him yet, it is understood that a number of local clubs, including Police, have initiated contact with the player.
