Christian Vedaste Niyondora is set to thrill gospel music lovers in a free live concert scheduled to take place on August 7, at Dove Hotel in Gisozi.

The singer who has been on the gospel music scene since 1998 is known for his skills in composition as he has composed many songs for different gospel artistes and choirs. He is now a member of Besalel choir of ADEPR located in Gatenga. 

The concert, dubbed ‘Uzi Gukunda Live Concert’, is organised by Niyodusenga and Christian Communication with the aim of evangelism through songs and the word of God.

On the concert line-up are Niyondora as the main headliner, Alexis Dusabe, Papy Claver, Simon Kabera and Aime Frank among others.

Speaking to Weekender, Niyondora says that the concert’s preparations are underway for another evangelic edition with different talented gospel musicians.

He says that he is looking forward to reconnecting with his supporters through the live concert’s second edition since he hasn’t been able to host them since before the pandemic in 2019.

"We have a lot in store to share about the goodness of the Lord that we hope it will help our audience who will be present at the concert. I call upon everyone to attend this free concert, however, we are open to anyone who is willing to offer any support to the concert,” he says.

Niyondora says that he and his fellow gospel musicians on the line-up have a big package for their audience and are ready to deliver the gospel of God through music.

Some of his songs include ‘Muri Gakondo’, ‘Imana Irabizi’, ‘Uzi Gukunda, ‘Umugabane Wanjye’ and ‘Baragowe’ among others.
