Singah replaces Costa Titch for Trappish concert 2

Nigerian artiste Singah has replaced Costa Titch as the main guest performer of the second edition of Trappish Concert, scheduled for next month.


This comes after the organisers of the show announced that Costa will not be performing at the long awaited concert due to personal reasons.

On Tuesday, Trappish Ent and Evolve music group who are the brains behind the show announced the line-up and Singah of Nigeria is among other young Rwandan musicians to grace the show.

Speaking to The New Times, Ish Kevin, founder of Trappish Ent, said that Singah is one of the most talented young artistesin Africa, which is the reason behind his addition to the line-up of the concert.

He further said that the concert aims to showcase different flavors of Rwandan music such as the new drill, hip-hop, Kinyatrap and Afro-beat which will be represented by Singah.

"With all the upcoming artistes plus Singah on the lineup, we believe that we are going to put up one of the biggest shows in Kigali. Let’s come in big numbers and push Rwandan music to greater heights,”  Ish Kevin, one of the organisers of the concert said.

Other musicians to perform at the highly anticipated concert include Gabiro Guitar, Mike Kayihura, Bushali, Kivumbi, Kenny K Shot, Og2tone, Logan Joe, Kenny Sol, Ririmba, Okkama, Chriss Eazy, Afrique, B-Threy, Bwiza, Ariel Wayz, France, Nillan, Slum Drip, Derek Ymg, Bruce the 1st, and Soldier Kid.

Dubbed 'My 250 and Trappish', the event is being organised with the help of Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB) which agreed to compensate organisers of the Ycee cancelled event with a better venue and paying part of the production cost of the concert.

Tickets are already on sale at Rwf10, 000 for regular, Rwf20, 000 for VIP and Rwf30, 000 for VVIP.
