The national lottery, Inzozi Lotto has re-launched their new jackpot; Inzozi Jackpot Lotto which is now at Rwf10 million, with playing made easier and simpler.
This soon-to-be fan favourite game saw 1,589 winners walk away with Rwf 3,392,000 on June 26 alone.
How can you win this money?
Of course, this is a game of chance. But to win, you will have to join the lottery by stopping by one of the company’s agents on the streets or by visiting the website: www.inzozilotto.rw to play.
You can also simply dial *240 and follow instructions.
Initially, to play the jackpot, a player selected a series of six numbers within a pool of 49 numbers that start from 1 to 49, to make it one combination.
To win Inzozi Jackpot Lotto, one needed to pick six numbers (from 1 to 49) to make a line on their ticket.
But now, players pick between five numbers between 1 and 35 and match the numbers to win the jackpot.
In this game where tickets cost only Rwf500 and each ticket has six digits, players can either pick out the numbers themselves or have the system generate random numbers for them.
The winner then gets a text message if they have the winning combination.
Another game is called Quick Lotto, where one will be asked to choose one number within 35 (0 to 34) and precise the stake amount.
Every ten minutes, the system will draw a number and if you match the number, you will win times 15, tax exclusive of the stake amount played.
For instance, if for the number you choose the stake amount was Rwf100 you will get Rwf1500.
Just last month, they introduced another game called ‘QUICK 10’ where every five minutes, players can win money.
QUICK 10 is a daily lottery game that requires one to choose 1 number in a set of 10 numbers and is played every five minutes. Play QUICK 10 by selecting one number between 0 and 9. You can either choose your own numbers or ask for a Quick Pick to have them randomly generated. It costs Rwf 300 to Rwf 10,000 per game and winners get 6 times tax exclusive of the stake amount played.
Inzozi Lotto which translates to ‘Dream Lotto’ focuses more on supporting sports development and believes that every Rwandan has a dream to see Rwandans getting trophies and medals in international games.
Inzozi Lotto was launched in December 2021 in a partnership between Carousel Ltd, a Rwandan registered company and the Ministry of Sports.
It was established in compliance with the Law no 58/2011 of 21/12/2011 in its Article 22, and falls into the goals of national lottery where, by this law, the government has the right to establish a lottery game in order to support socio-economic activities.
