According to Mr Eazi, the customers only pay with mobile money and the reason for that is that the customer’s journey has to be smooth and they want to be able to know who is betting and if they are not under 18, adding that they can only have that data by using a smart system like mobile money which help them provide quality services.

Fiona Munyana Gahima, Marketing Coordinator at betPawa added that the partnership is going to help their firm tap into the big brand Mobile Money Rwanda has and reach their target audience.

According to her, it will also allow them to explore different marketing channels Mobile Money Rwanda use, their products that can help them reach as more Rwandans as possible as well as to push the message of responsible gaming to Rwandans.

Tackling what makes Mobile Money Rwanda stands out among other payment methods, she said they facilitate customers to deposit the least amount of money to pay at betPawa since the online betting and gaming franchise allows customers to bet as low as one Rwandan franc and that they are an avenue that is available countrywide.
