CYF delegates in for a treat at Kigali Street Festival

Over 350 youth from the 54 member states of the Commonwealth are gathered at the Intare Arena conference hall for the three-day Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF).

The youth will have a fun experience at the Kigali Street festival as one of the sessions among several forum series of activities that will be conducted on June 20.

The entertainment zone is a place to enjoy a car-free nightlife in Kigali, and patronize your favourite bar and restaurant with convenience

It is an opportunity for CYF participants to visit some of the  socio-economic sites as a way of sharing experience on Rwanda’s transformation journey.

Proposed sites to be visited by the CYF delegates

Kigali Imbuga City Walk, located in Nyarugenge is one of the sites that is equipped with free internet connectivity, recreational and several entertainment activities, business exhibitions at times, space for inter-personal interactions and business kiosks selling refreshments and snacks.

Biryogo, of Nyamirambo suburb,  also has a colorful car free zone, that provides a conducive social interaction space, recreational, entertainment activities and refreshments.

The space is mostly known for its delicious tea and snacks. 

Gisementi car free zone, located in Remera, also provides free entertainment and interpersonal social interactions.

Apart from business, the Gisementi car free zone is full of vibes and energy.

The site will have two setups, the VIP which will have entrance fee plus the public with no entrance fee.
