TUSKER PROJECT FAME 6 PARTICIPANT who is also among the best vocalists in Rwanda, Patrick Nyamitari, is back in the music scene with a new release which is on the track list of his yet to be released album.

Dubbed ‘Rwandan Angel’, the new single premiered on Sunday, and is among many others on Nyamitaris’s highly anticipated album titled ‘L.O.V.E’ to drop this month.

Since his breakthrough, Nyamitari has been labelled one of Rwanda’s best artistes following hit singles like ‘Ur’Imana,’ ‘Niwe Messiya’, ‘Nyirakidederi,’ ‘Umulisa’, and many others he produced after going secular.

Talking about his comeback, Nyamitari told The New Times that even though his fame in Rwanda’s music scene strayed in the past, he believes that the upcoming album will plot his comeback considering how the project holds a number of bangers produced and mastered by the best producers at the moment.

He says that ‘L.O.V.E’ has different touches from different experts, music arrangers, and sound engineers such as Niz Beatz, the current hit music arranger, David Pro, Clement the Guitarist, Gates Mulumba and Umushanana Records, which is the current business partner of Nyamitari.

"I’ve been working on L.O.V.E since 2016. The tracks that will appear on it are a compilation of different seasons and 80 per cent of them were made this year,” he explains the album adding that it is produced in different genres such as Afro pop, Afrobeat, a little bit of Reggae, with well blended ingredients of summer vibes.

Nyamitari further notes that L.O.V.E, the album name, was inspired by plans he had early this year, to make a strong comeback during summer time, a period he believes that many, including lovers, get time to have fun as well as explore good music.

Asked how his music career stands after disappearing from the limelight for over five years, he says that his music is back on the right track with more creativity, and with the release of his album followed by a concert, there is hope that this might be his great comeback.

So far, one track among 12 on L.O.V.E is already out and can be streamed on all online streaming platforms. The album also features B Threy, one of the best fast-rising musicians in Rwanda.
