MUSIC SENSATION The Ben, real name Benjamin Mugisha, is set to release a new album after almost five years dropping singles only.

The renowned afro hit maker announced the upcoming album after his recently sold out concert that took place in Kentucky, U.S.A.

Speaking to the press, The Ben revealed his plans of dropping a new album that he has been working on for over three years noting that it will be out before this year ends.

"I am going to first drop a single and trust me it’s worth the time my fans have been waiting for, then after I will release a new album I have been working on for years.  The album is lit because it features singles that I worked on with African music giants,” the singer said.

The new album will feature songs like ‘Why,’ which features Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platinumz and is still trending in the region with over 11 million views on YouTube.

The artiste who has been topping charts in Rwanda despite living thousands of miles away from home is also expected to perform live in Kampala, next weekend.

"Madness about to happen next week in Uganda. It’s going down,” The Ben said through his social media platforms, confirming his show in Uganda.

The 'Why' hit maker is expected to perform in Kampala on July 3, at Garden City rooftop alongside other Ugandan top musicians including Rema whom they made a banger together dubbed, ‘This Is Love’.

The singer is currently based in Chicago-USA and has been doing shows in different cities as one way to showcase some of the hits on the new album.

Although the singer did not mention the exact dates when he will release the new album, he promised to drop it before 2022 ends.
