The last week of May is giving Kigali residents a chance to shake off the tiredness with the many concerts lined up. If May hasn’t been good to you, prepare yourself for a new month with some good vibes. Here are some of the events that will spice up your weekend:

Seka Fest

Starting with the return of ‘Seka Live’ this Sunday night May 29, comedy lovers will again have their ribs cracked at the night of this stand-up comedy from 6pm at M hotel, Kiyovu. Apart from the performances of local comedians like Arthur, Merci, Rusine and Roger, this live comedy will host Zimbabwean comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube, and one of South Africa’s top stand-up comedians, Loyiso Madinga.

Tickets for the ‘Seka Live’ show are Rwf10, 000 for ordinary tickets and Rwf15, 000 for VIP.

Oldies Music Festival

This Friday will be a night to remember as MCs and DJs bring back memories of music played in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s (2000-2010) around the world. Organised by Impano Creative, the festival will take place at Juru Park in Rebero. Music lovers (aged 18 and above) are expected to show up in various fashion trends of the old times.

Tickets will be sold at Rwf10, 000 for regular and Rwf150, 000 for a table of eight people.
