Mico The Best unveils plan to release new album

AFRO-BEAT SINGER Prosper Mico, commonly known as Mico The Best is now preparing to release third mega album and an album concert prior the album launch.

The ‘Igare’ hit maker revealed that for now he hasn’t picked the name for the album and number of songs which will be on it yet. He however said that it is a mega album because it will have many songs due to the fact that he had an album that never came out which consisted of songs like "Umunamba” and "Igare” among others.

He is set to release a new song dubbed "Indembo” this week which will also be on this album which has been rumored to be the album’s title, however he denied it saying that the title has not yet been decided.

The new album which is set to feature other established artistes whom he kept confidential saying it is a surprise for his fans to be revealed once the album is out.

Some of the producers who worked on the album include Element, Ayo Rash and Bob pro among others.

"My album’s concert will represent me and my journey in music for all the years I have been giving people music. There will also be performances from different artistes whom I took part in their music journey,” he said.

According to Mico, his fans should expect something bigger than music from his album as he always keeps his promises to fans because whenever he is busy that means he is preparing good music to come. 

When making this album he says his inspiration didn’t go far from his target in music which is making listeners dance and have a good time when listening to the album as an Afrobeat and dancehall artiste. The album’s message will, as well, be more about love than other subjects as he always does but might as well have one or two songs not talking about love like the previous song ‘Millionaire.’ 

Mico the Best will release third album that will mark seven years since he launched his second album dubbed "Kule” in 2016. This album will also be his first since signing under Kikac music label in 2019.
