Intore Sundays shifts to Kigali Arena

American singer and DJ Jay Shale will entertain at the BAL.

As the Basketball Africa League (BAL) playoffs tournament gets around the corner, more fun  activities are put on the line up to entertain fans from different areas of the world who will be in Kigali to enjoy the playoffs.

Intore Sundays, a monthly music event which attracts disc jockeys from different areas of the world, is back and set to take place this Sunday, May 22, at Kigali Arena.

The event, according to Bruce Intore, organizer of Intore Sundays, will be headlined by Rwanda’s finest DJs with an addition of Jay Shale, a top female disc jockey from USA who is popularly known on spunky and throwback mixes.

DJ Toxxyk, who is at the forefront of the night life of Kigali, as well as celebrated Tv presenter and Deejay, Makeda, are also on the line up of DJs to grace the exclusive Intore Sundays edition staged for this Sunday.

"The sports industry and the music industry are two worlds that collide often. In fact, in terms of entertainment, there may not be two industries more symbiotic than sports and music. That’s why we decided to put our event in the BAL playoffs,” Intore told The New Times.

He also noted that the show will kick off after the game between Guinea's Slac and Zamalek of Egypt which is scheduled to take place on Sunday at 18:00 pm.

According to Intore, The event will also have stands for food and beverages, 3X3 Basketball animation, live Music and DJ sets, meetings with the legends as well as trophy exhibitions.

Intore Sundays is becoming one of the most popular events, with Kigali’s middle class and expatriate community embracing it in equal measure.

BAL has also revealed more talented artistes to grace the tournament including ‘Agatunda’ hit maker Afrique, DJ Pyfo, Ish Kevin, Bushali among many others.
