GOODLYFE BOSS Weasel Manizo, real name Douglas Mayanja, is set to officially wed his Rwandan long-time fiancée Sandra Teta.

The pair have been dating since late 2018 when Weasel was as an old friend of Sandra from Rwanda back then. They made it public when the Rwandan socialite appeared in Weasel’s love song ‘Guwoma’ which was meant to shed more light on their ongoing relationship.

Sandra contested in the beauty pageant for Miss School of Finance and Banking (SFB), currently a University of Rwanda’s College of Business and Economics, in 2011, where she emerged 2nd runner- up, a position that opened her doors to the showbiz world. She moved to Uganda in 2018 after serving a few months in prison for allegedly swindling after her flopped Rwanda International Fashion World event graced by regional celebrities Bebe Cool and socialite Zari Hassan. Sandra was given a part-time job after settling in Kampala to promote a bar called Hideout Bar & Lounge at the Lugogo bypass, which was a favorite hangout for musicians, especially those from the Mayanja family from which Weasel hails alongside Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone and Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso.

It is there that the duo resumed their relationship until they agreed to live together.

The couple now has two kids together; a daughter and a son and weasel wants to legalize his relationship with Sandra Teta as a sign of appreciation to the beauty queen who formerly dated Active’s Derek Sano and Prince Kid.

Speaking to Ugandan media, Weasel said that he plans to take his wife to Rwanda for introduction ceremony in efforts to make their wedding official for the public to witness.

"I have done it all, I have flown airplanes, sailed ships, gone to the moon. Time reaches and you have to settle. Time has reached and I have to legalize my relationship with Sandra Teta. I fear sharp boys might snatch her,” he said.

"We are flying to Rwanda for an introduction. She has given me two beautiful babies. It’s only one way to appreciate her,” he added.

Weasel is doing solo music after losing his Good Lyfe partner Mowzey Radio with whom they dominated the music industry in Uganda and the region until he died in February 2018.
