You can also watch up to 250,000 programs in replay of up to eight hours including Kids programs available on Nathan TV.

The software application also allows one to download certain programs and watch them offline.

"To simplify our clients’ experience, we want them to walk with their screens wherever they go, to avoid missing any content because of any circumstance like power outage among any other challenge,” Sophie Tchatchoua, Canal + Rwanda’s Managing Director, announced during the launch.

She reiterated that the app will provide more fun to Canal + clients: "In case you are stuck on the road, or in a very distant location, no need to travel home to watch your favourite programs, they will all be available on your portable devices.”

Partnership with Mango Limited

The app was also designed in a less-consuming data mode.

It is free, but it also has a feature of using cheap data bundles as one is able to watch videos in three less data consuming video qualities.

To enforce that, Canal + has also joined hands with one of the internet service providing partners, Mango Telecom, to ease internet affordability for those who will be using the app.

If you download and use the app using Mango Telecom internet, you will immediately get seven free GBs.

Canal + app can be found on Play store.
