BELGIUM-BASED RWANDAN SINGER, Lous and The Yakuza, signed a contract with Roc Nation label as her new music record label

The 25 year old’s music career is onwards under renowned American record label, Roc Nation management, co-founded by Shawn Corey Carter, known professionally as Jay-Z, a global influential hip-hop artiste. 

Yakuza announced the latest venture through her Instagram post, where she unveiled a new deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, thanking her fans and followers for the support.

"A couple weeks ago I officially joined the @rocnation management family! It’s been overwhelming to see your reaction to the news since I announced it two days ago and to see what this means to so many of you! All your messages really touched my heart. I’m excited for this new adventure, @kailynash my badass manager and I am soooo ready and excited to build the foundations of our wildest dreams. I feel unbelievably blessed to be where I am in my life right now and it’s all thanks to your support. Cheers to all of you to female energy and team work. Let’s goo,” she posted.

In February 2009, Roc Nation signed its first artist, rapper J.Cole and later on signed other world’s famous artists such as Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Tinasha, Rihanna, Meek Mill, Dj Khaled, fabulous, Fat Joe, u Dixson, Jadkiss, and many more.

Roc Nation is now an entertainment agency that has offices in New York, London and Los Angeles. It includes a talent agency, sports agency, record label, management, TV & film, clothing line, touring, media relations, publishing, school, philanthropy, exhibition network and more.

Louis and The Yakuza signs in the label as a young and rising Belgian R&B hip-hop fierce. She is also on her music tour in Europe, to perform some of the most prestigious summer festivals.  

She was in Rwanda last year in January, where she visited her friends and family. 

Real name Marie-Pierra Kakoma, the singer was born in Congo with her father being a Congolese and her mother being a Rwandan, before moving to Belgium, Brussels as her current home. Hip-hop/ Rap and French urban pop/ R&B is her music genre and she is also a professional Singer, model and artiste.

She rose to fame after the release of her debut single "Dilemme” in September 2019, which was followed by "Tout set gore” in December 2019 and "Solo” in March 2020.
