Less than a week after being crowned Miss Rwanda 2022, Divine Nshuti Muheto is off to work!
The beauty queen paid a courtesy visit to her former secondary school, FAWE Girls School - Gahini in Kayonza District, to celebrate her crown with the school staff and students before she officially launched her project on promoting a savings culture among the youth.
Muheto pursued her A-Level education at the school between 2018 and 2021, and it was an emotional moment when she stepped into her former classroom, before reminiscing about the good old days as a high school student.

On her arrival, the beauty queen was welcomed by the school’s headmistress Sr. Felecite Mukashema and other staff members who treated her to a tour of different parts of the school.
The headmistress congratulated Muheto on making the school proud by winning the Miss Rwanda crown and emphasised that her victory didn’t come as a surprise because she was an exemplary student during her days at the school.
"She was a kind and disciplined student who loved praying and studying, which I think, in addition to her beauty, helped her win the crown,” she said of Muheto.
Accompanied by the Miss Rwanda team, Muheto interacted with the students on winning the crown, and how she wants to use the platform to encourage the younger generation to embrace a savings culture with the resources they have.

"I want to see saving become a culture to everyone and students are no exception because when you finish your studies, you won’t need to always ask your parents for everything anymore, especially if you start saving now,” she told students.
Muheto explained that she wanted to start her project from her former school as part of dedicating her crown to the institution that played a big part in her education.
The school, in return, pledged to support her towards the success of the initiative during her reign as Miss Rwanda 2022.
Muheto, 19, was crowned Miss Rwanda 2022 beating first and second runners-up Maolithia Keza and Darina Kayumba.
