Team Rwanda set for Africa Cycling Championship

Team Rwanda riders are in a bullish mood ahead of the African Cycling Championship that runs from March 23-27.

The 10 cyclists who will represent Rwanda trained on the race course on Monday in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

"The team has been holding intensive preparations in bid to stage a successful performance in the Africa championship,” Coach Félix Sempoma said.

The cyclists who will compete in the men’s category are; Moïse Mugisha, Jean Bosco Nsengimana, Uhiriwe Byiza Renus, Mugisha Samuel and Muhoza Eric, while Diane Ingabire, Nzayisenga, Jacqueline Tuyishime and Aline Uwera will compete in the women’s category.

This is the fourth time Team Rwanda has participated in the African Championship in Egypt.
