ERIC MABANO KAGAME has shared that some songs on his debut album, ‘Goligota’ are true stories and so far he is so amazed by the feedback he has received on the project.

"I am so glad that people enjoyed my album and showcased it. Ever since I started doing music, I have never received so many congratulatory and appreciation calls and texts like the ones I am receiving over this album. Some even add that it is the best album within the past three years,” said Mr Kagame.

Speaking to The New Times he revealed that some songs that took the music world by the storm are; ‘Kigali’ ft Ariel, ‘Kabebe’, ‘Mukunzi Remix’ ft Théo Bosebabireba, ‘Bwombo’ and ‘Tugende’ ft DJ Marnaud. In addition to that, "I strongly believe that people liked my album because some songs on it are true stories. For instance, ‘Mukunzi Remix’ ft Theo Bosebabireba is my very own true story.”

Theogene Uwiringiyimana, best known as Theo Bosebabireba, told The New Times that the remix is still a gospel genre and he was so glad to learn that Mr Kagame referred to the song based on the previous ‘Mukunzi’. When asked about the feedback they have received in relation to it. "Mr Kagame approached me and expressed how he loves that song. He requested that we do a remix and people loved the collaboration and outcomes.”

Ariel Wayz’s manager told this publication that having their artiste on this album is a plus, since they were not expecting it. "Mr Kagame is a good artist, it is so meaningful to us since we were not even expecting it at all,” said Mugabe. He added that both Mr Kagame and Ariel Wayz wrote the song together to make it a better piece.

The two did ‘Kigali’ which mostly acts as an introduction of the entire album. It has a soft/poetry rap.

Dramuke Herbert a.k.a Herbert Skillz, a Billboard Award Winner, Music Producer, Artist, DJ, and Sound Engineer, a United Kingdom based Ugandan who has records of working with many top artistes across Africa, United Kingdom, Jamaica, Europe and USA is the brains behind seven songs on this album. Under his Sound Makers studio located in the United Kingdom, Herbert mixed and mastered; ‘Nkumisinga’, ‘Kabebe’, ‘Tugende’, ‘Ikivuguto’, ‘Kigali’, ‘Bwombo’, and ‘Akanini K'icumi’.

So far, the 10-song album is being sold on different music platforms and one can get the copies via Mr Kagame’s social media platforms as well.
