Fifteen months operating in Rwanda, Canal + has again unveiled another package of surprise to its new and loyal customers.

As the popular European football leagues return, Canal + Rwanda has again slashed its prices to allow its clients to follow the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Bundes Liga and Ligue 1.

To prepare its new clients for the anticipated moments of March 2022, the content distributor has reduced its decoder and installation prices from Rwf 10,000 to Rwf5,000 each until the end of the month, in its new promotion dubbed, "Hahiye”.

"So as to allow our loyal customers to access the beautiful content that will be airing on different TV stations this month, we have scrapped down the prices and added more surprise packages for them,” commented Sophie Tchatchoua, the Managing Director of Canal + Rwanda.

For existing clients who renew their subscription earlier, the content distributor has added a bonus of seven days watching more channels as those who haven’t spent three months working with Canal + will get a bonus of 14 days, a promotion that will last for a year.

According to David Bayingana, a Radio Sports personality who is the brand ambassador of Canal +, the prices are shocking.

"These are terrifying prices and sometimes it is difficult to convince people that the process of installation and other devices that costed Rwf 80,000 are now costing Rwf 10,000,” he said, adding, "This is a very good price,”.

Canal + Rwanda has also launched its software app that will allow its clients to access all the content via their smartphone or computer in a live or on-demand format.

Using the app, you can access more than 200 channels including all the Rwandan channels and up to 70 African channels.

You can also watch up to 250,000 programs in replay including Kids programs available on Nathan TV.

The software application also allows one to download certain programs and watch them offline and it is very cheap because it allows one to watch videos in three less data consuming video qualities.

Tchatchoua reiterates that the app will provide more fun to Canal + Clients: "In case you might be stuck in the road or in a very distant location, no need to travel home to watch your favorite program, they will all be available on your portable devices,”.

The above promotions come in after all the popular European football leagues return.

They include the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, Bundes Liga and Ligue 1 as well as the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
