LAST YEAR, so many artists managed to do big projects in their respective career fields, and so did Bwiza when she released her Extended Play, ‘Connect Me’.

Talking about her recently released Extended Play dubbed ‘Connect Me’, the 22-year-old, in an exclusive interview with The New Times said.

"I wanted everyone who will listen to my EP will connect me to his/her friends too and let them know about me. It took me two weeks to do the entire EP and I was doing my exams at school. It was not an easy thing to do, but the secret was hardwork since I knew what I wanted, I did all I could take to make it possible.”

Bwiza revealed that all the six artistes on her EP are her favorite and the management team supported her to approach them all easily. The songs on her EP are; ‘Mi Amor’ ft Riderman, ‘Hello’ ft Kevin Skaa, ‘Local’ ft Niz Beats, ‘My Lady’ ft Social Mula, ‘Lolo’ ft Chris Eazy and ‘Wibeshya’ ft Mico The Best.

When asked why she only did collaborations on her EP, she said that since her previous two songs were all her solo songs, she wanted to change the game and broaden her music career.

Bwiza said that she is getting closer to her dreams since she has been receiving positive feedback from her counterparts. She went on and shared her point of view in relation to female development in Rwandan music,

"Music is developing a lot, so many opportunities day by day which give hope of a brighter future for female artistes. I am so glad that I haven’t faced any challenges and thanks to God for that.”
