AS Kigali's management on Saturday fired coach Eric Nshimiyimana and assistant coach Djabil Mutarambirwa after losing 2-1 to Rayon Sports.

Caretaker Romami Marcel inspired Rayon Sports to winning ways with a 2-1 hard-fought victory over AS Kigali at Kigali Stadium in Nyamirambo.

The coaches had signed a one-year contract in July 2020 with an option to extend the deal.

AS Kigali will return to the field on December 23 where they will host Gasogi United.
