There are lots of Rwandan players who play football in different European nations that the national football federation (Ferwafa) should monitor to feature for the national football teams both at junior and senior level despite playing very well for their clubs.

As the country seeks to get its best talents across the globe to help revive the Amavubi, Times Sport brings you five players who can be scouted by football authorities in the country.

1.  Jonathan Nsanzimana (Bayern Munich, Germany)

The 17-year-old right-back has been with the Bavarians since the age of 13 and is considered as one of their priceless assets. Nsanzimana currently features for the Under 19 team of Bayern Munich in the German youth league and he has been likened to club legend Philip Lahm due to his style of play.

He was born in Munich to Rwandan parents and is eligible to play for the Amavubi as well as Germany

2- Glen Habimana (Lierse Kemp, Belgium)

The budding attacker started his career with Breda before moving to Lierse Kemp where he features for their U21 side.

Habimana is considered a huge prospect due to his ability to play anywhere upfront as well as his knack for scoring goals. Born to Rwandan parents in Belgium, he is yet to be capped by any of the countries at any level.

3- Felix Nizeyimana (Adler Frintrop, Germany)

He has been a constant figure in the German lower tier leagues since 2013.

Capable of playing in both the defensive and offensive midfield roles, the 27-year-old has been the engine of the Adler team since joining them from RV Rentford in the summer of 2020.

4-Hugo Bigirimana (BEJune FC, Switzerland)

The 16-year-old shot stopper was signed by BEJune FC in July this year for their youth side and has cemented his place as their first choice goalkeeper in the Under 18 League.

He has both Burundian and Rwandan nationality and he is eligible to play for both countries as well as Switzerland.

5-Isaac Bimenyimana (MSC Preussen, Germany)

A very efficient left-back, Bimenyimana has been with the German sixth-tier side since June 2017. He has already scored twice in twelve games this season for his club as they hope to qualify for the Oberliga.

The 28-year-old defender previously plated for Fort Magdeburg as well as Oschersleben
