Simba SC striker Meddie Kagere is already looking forward to this weekend's clash with sworn rivals Yanga FC in the Tanzanian premier league top of the table clash at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

The Rwandan international has been in a rich vein of form in the past few weeks netting some crucial goals for Simba and he is aiming to pick all the maximum points against Yanga on Saturday.

"Every game for us is a final, we know many will be watching our match with Yanga due to the size and history of these teams but we are going step by step and their turn will come," Kagere told the club's media.

"From the officials, our technical bench and the players we are well prepared to do well because we realize the importance of the game so we do not want to repeat the mistakes that happened in the beginning," He added.

The experienced Rwandan striker has netted four league goals this season and he is second on the top scorers chat behind Juma Jeremiah.

Simba are 2nd on the league table with 17 points from 7 games whereas their opponents are on top with 19 points.
