Try to understand Catholicism better

A lot of spite has lately been directed towards Catholics whose practices are largely misunderstood by many pastors that just derive a literal understanding of the Bible.

The Bible is one of the most complex books and many a pastor purport that one only needs divine revelation to understand it, hence the varied literal interpretations of biblical text that we are usually subjected to.

To understand Jesus better, I urge Christians to read the book, Jesus of Nazareth written by the widely acclaimed theologian, Joseph Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI) and available in St. Paul’s bookshop and also visit the site www.scripturecatholic.com to gain a better understanding of Catholic practices.
