Rema promises exciting performance at the all-star game tomorrow

Renowned Afro star Rema, real name Divine Ikubor is in Kigali to headline an all-star game which will take place tomorrow November 20, at Kigali Arena.

The 21-year-old Nigerian is taking the music scene by storm on a global scale, and has promised Rwandans to deliver the best tomorrow during his performance.

Songs like 'Corny,' 'Ginger Me,' 'Dumebi,' 'Woman' and 'Beamer' are some of the tracks that many music lovers can't wait to listen to live at the show tomorrow.

During a presser, Rema said that he is hyped to see how Rwandans party and can’t wait to show them what he has.

"I’m expecting lots of love and energy. I just want to connect with everyone tomorrow, most especially the youth who play and support my music,” he said.

To his fans in Rwanda, Rema said that he is overwhelmed by the love and support he received since he landed in Kigali on Wednesday.

He further advised Rwandan artistes to work as a team and preach love in their songs.

"They should make the voice from this region louder. That’s one of the routes to success,” he said during a media briefing.

"Let’s all come early and make Kigali shake,” Rema added.

The show will also feature some of the big artistes in Rwanda such as Kivumbi King, Bulldog, Social Mulla, Mike Kayihura and DJ Marnaud with The Target Band.

Kivumbi King, one of the performers to headline the show tomorrow told the press that everything is set and tomorrow will be a good day for the culture and Rwandan music.

"I can’t wait to turn up with all my fans tomorrow. Let’s all come together and celebrate African music,” he said during a presser.

Tickets for the event are all sold out.

Rema has worked with big artistes such as Skepta, Tion Wayne, 6lack, Jae 5 among many others.

Kigali Arena's Gates will be open tomorrow at 12 pm.
