The Business to Business (B2B) department of Canal + Rwanda has launched a Christmas package for big hotels, restaurants, airports, hospitals and other service providers.

The promo will run from November 15 until December 31.

The companies will be eligible for promotions on either of the three subscriptions (Basic with 8 selected channels on Rwf7,000 per room, Essential with 16 selective channels on Rwf10,500 per room and Prestige with 24 channels on Rwf13,500 per room).

The good news about this is that all equipment, the installation process and after-sale services will be totally free.

"Most of the time, the equipment to install the common server in a big system like hotels and restaurants are costly, and can only be purchased from Dubai and China. But through our promotion, all of them will be free,” said Aime Abizera, Canal + Sales Director.

Abizera added that hotels mostly accommodate tourists and business people attending meetings who really need access to content.

"People in hotels are mostly tourists who want to what’s going on in back in their home countries, and they are often lonely, so they need TV devices in the rooms to entertain them during their stay,” he emphasised.

The hotel visitors will be helped because Canal + has over 200 channels in different languages including news, sports, series and music content.

Over 50 hotels in Rwanda have already subscribed to the Canal + system.

Julia Abayisenga, an interning Key Account Assistant in the B2B department highlighted that the promo comes at the right time when the Rwandan tourism trend is recovering after the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She added subscription prices are not high at all: "We have also done our best to set up affordable prices because if one room costs over $300 dollars per night and the monthly subscription is less than $15, that is a fair price for real,” she commented.

Canal + technicians who are spread in different corners of the country will be on standby to help any client who will experience a technical hitch without any charges.

Canal+ Rwanda is a branch of Canal + International Group, a leader in the publishing of premium channels as well as distribution of pay television offers.

The group is experiencing strong growth with a major presence in European, African and Asian markets.
