Police did not start the season well after defeating Etoile de l'Est 3-0 in their opening match but immediately lost 2-0 to lowly Espoir FC.

Although he has said that results have to improve if they are to win the league title. Frank Nuttall says their goal in the 2021-22 season is to win the league title.

"Our goal in the league is just like the other teams in the league is to try and win the league title. The boys need to put on a wonderful performance in the next fixtures," Frank Nuttall said.

Police FC brought in some experienced players in the transfer window who include; Muhadjiri Hakizimana, Eric Zidane Nsabimana, Eric Bakame Ndayishimiye, Danny Usengimana and Umar Rwabugiri.

"For us, the season has just started, we didn’t start well but slowly we will be improving, and we want to be in contention to win the league title,” the English coach added.

Police will take on Gorilla FC after the international break. The law enforcers sit in fifth place with three points after two rounds.
