SINGER BRUCE ITAHIWACU, commonly known by stage name as Bruce Melodie, is gearing up for a memorable concert during which he looks forward to celebrating his ten-year anniversary of his music career with his music supporters.
Dubbed '10 years of Bruce Melodie', the concert will be held at the singer’s official residency, Kigali Arena, on Saturday, November 6.
The singer, who launched his music career in 2011, is proud of the incredible level his music has reached over the past decade, a successful journey he dedicates to everyone who pushed him over the course.
"My music had ups and downs from the beginning but, thanks to everyone who contributed to this journey, here I am now. It’s a journey worth celebrating,” the singer said.
"I celebrate ten years of milestones and challenges. I am not just celebrating what I achieved but also the failures which I am sure pushed me to improve my music from one level to another,” he added.
The singer is now doing rehearsals every day as he prepares to give his music supporters a reason to celebrate with ‘the best performance’ of his career.
Niyo Bosco, Riderman, Papa Cyangwe are among a host of artistes so far confirmed to join the singer on the Kigali Arena stage during his celebration concert.
Ten years of milestones
From winning Salax Awards and Primus Guma Guma Super Star prizes to sharing big stages with music icons and signing mega-money deals as a brand ambassador, Bruce Melodie has plenty of reasons to celebrate his current music milestone as an artist who started from scratch.
He can also celebrate the impressive rise to fame of music duo Juno Kizigenza and Kenny Sol whose music earned an incredible admiration from music enthusiasts while under his management at Igitangaza Music.
The singer has always heaped praise on the duo’s hustle and impressive rise to fame even after they parted ways with him on mutual consent shortly after he agreed to do music under Clouds Entertainment’s management.
From ‘Telefone’, a song that alerted the industry that a new music star was coming, Bruce Melodie’s journey to becoming a music star defines the talents that Rwandans have seen since he launched his career a decade ago.
The singer is now ready to share his story through performance and interactions in what he anticipates to be a concert to remember.
Early bird tickets for the concert are already available at Rwf10, 000 and Rwf 20, 000 for regulars and VIPs while those who will buy them at the venue will pay Rwf 15 000 and Rwf 25 000 for regulars and VIPs.
There are also tickets for VVIPs at Rwf 150 000 per couple.
