The Trappish concert will feature artistes such as Mike Kayihura, Kivumbi King, Logan Joe, Confy, Kenny K Shot, among many others.

Ish Kevin announced his first mega show on all his social media platforms.

In an interview with The New Times he said, this show is a game changer because it will only feature fast-rising Rwandan artiste, the first of its kind.

"I have brought to my fans a whole new generation in music, with artiste we haven’t seen on the stage before. I assure everyone that this won’t be something normal, but a day to remember in the history of Rwandan music,” he said.

In addition he said, he has been releasing bangers since the outbreak of covid-19, so it’s time that people experience the greatness of these sounds live.

The ‘Amakosi’ hitmaker disclosed that the audience of Rwandan music has increased in the past few years, and this shouldn’t stop at just streaming, but also supporting music by attending such events.

"We should start trusting our own musicians, without necessarily paying foreign artistes a huge amount of money, to perform here when we have local artistes who can also deliver the best,” he added.

According to Ish Kevin, naming his show ‘Trappish’ is a way of promoting his movement which he pioneered in the streets of Kigali, and has now raised different artistes to the top.

The show will be open to the public and only attendants who will present the covid-19 negative results will be allowed in.

Tickets for the event are available at Rwf10, 000 for regular, and Rwf20, 000 for VIP, covid-19 test fees inclusive.
