I’m a fan of the Premiership team, Manchester United, and I was extremely pleased that Man U was able to avenge our defeat to Jose Mourinho’s Porto side a few years ago that broke many Red Devil Hearts, including my very own.

However, we’ve managed to slay the Porto dragon, in its very lair, with a sweet strike by current World Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo. Yes, we’ve been doing quite badly, and leaking goals all over the place, but I think we are over that rough patch.

Kudos as well to Arsenal for its 3-0 win over Villareal at the Emirates stadium. English teams are doing well in Europe this year and I wouldn’t mind an all-English final once again. Just as long as the Red Devils are crowned champs again, of course.
