AS Kigali Vs Missira 15:00

AS Kigali head coach Eric Nshimiyimana is set to rotate his team in Saturday’s Caf Confederation Cup match against Comoros outfit Olympique de Missira.

Kick-off 3pm CAT, at Kigali Stadium.

The Rwandan side will be hosting Missira for the decisive clash with one leg in the next round following a 2-1 away victory in the first-leg last week.

However, Nshimiyimana will have to accomplish the mission without three players – goalie Shamiru Bate and, midfielders Rashid Kalisa and Fabrice Mugheni – who picked up minor injuries in the first match. They will all be on the sideline for two weeks.

"We will make the necessary changes to cover the gap,” said the head coach, a former midfielder for the national team Amavubi. "This is a crucial match and we are going to do everything in our abilities to win.”

Forward Pierrot Kwizera and Robert Saba scored for AS Kigali during the first-leg encounter, with El Haad netting the consolation strike for the hosts.

"We need to be more focused in the return-leg, we can’t let anything to chance,” Nshimiyimana further urged his players.

Should AS Kigali make it past the preliminary round, they will have two more additions – centre-back Lamine Benomar and midfielder Olivier Niyonzima – who have not secured documents to feature for the club yet.

The City of Kigali-sponsored side would face DR Congo’s DMC in the first round.
