Group A Rwanda Vs Senegal 18:00

Group B Burundi Vs Kenya 14:00 DR Congo Vs Tunisia 16:00

Hosts Rwanda will be looking to finish top of Pool A when they face Senegal in the two sides’ final group game at the ongoing 2021 Women’s Volleyball African Nations Championship on Thursday.

The game gets underway at 6pm CAT, at the Kigali Arena.

A win would guarantee Rwanda advances to the semi-finals as Group A leaders, and would face runners-up from Group B, which includes continental powerhouse teams Cameroon and Kenya.

The home side secured their last four slot on Monday after beating Nigeria in straight sets to make it two wins in two games, having outclassed Morocco the previous day.

Speaking to members of the press, head coach Paulo de Tarso said that "We (Rwanda) do not want to lose a single game in the group stage.”

In other games scheduled for Thursday; Burundi takes on Kenya at 2pm, whereas DR Congo will be up against Tunisia at 4pm.

The nine-day tournament, the biggest on the continent in women’s volleyball, will conclude on September 19. Semi-finals will be played on Saturday, September 18.
