Thierry Ntwali has been invited to attend the 15th edition of the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Worldwide Coaches’ conference in Paraguay.

The Rwanda Tennis Federation official who also doubles as the senior national tennis coach is one of three African coaches who have landed this special invitation to what is believed to be the top coaches’ conference in the world.

"It’s an honor for me to be among the three African coaches who have been selected to attend the conference.

It’s is undoubtedly the biggest coaching conference in the world and any coach would love to be involved,” Ntwali excitedly said.

The conference is a show piece of the ITF coaches’ education program that is expected to attract over 100 different countries as well as experts in sports science and medicine, psychology, biomechanics, player development and coaches education.

The conference’s tutors list has high profile names like ITF’s research officer Miguel Crespo who holds a PhD in sports and Argentinean’s Horacio Anselmi amongst others.

The event that is set to run from October 22-27 is jointly organized by ITF and the hosting country’s tennis association (Paraguay Tennis Association) and will be staged at Resort Casino Yatch.

The five-day event is directed to coaches working with high level players.
