King James to release new album in October

AFTER THREE YEARS of dropping singles, R&B singer King James, real name James Ruhumuriza, is finallising his next album dubbed "Ubushobozi.”

His recent song ‘Ndagukumbuye’ featuring Ariel Ways, is the first track released on the album.

The song won the attention and admiration of many music lovers across the country, paving way for the album to be a banger project.

According to King James, naming his upcoming album ‘Ubushobozi’ was inspired by many factors including love which is the main message on the album

"‘Ubushobozi’ means ability. Ability to love is what makes the world we live in a better place. I want to communicate in my album that no matter what, love still wins in the end. And I wish for everyone to have this ability of loving and appreciating people in their lives,” he said.

The new album which is set to feature both, upcoming and established artistes in the industry will be released on October 10, the singer announced on his social media platforms.

He is known to be a top player in the business sector which explains why he has been off in the music scene.

Asked if his recent trip to the United States was connected to the album, he said that it was one of the main reasons for the journey where he produced various tracks in the same country.

"I had many reasons to travel to the U.S but my album was also among the plans. I have different videos which I shot there, once the album is out, everyone will be able to see what I did in America” he told The New Times.

He added that the new album will be unique compared to the previous ones, as music lovers will be able to buy it on different platforms.

‘Ubushobozi’ album is produced by top Rwandan producers such as Bob Pro, Knox Beat and MadeBeats.

Since King James joined the music scene, he has steadily risen up the ranks, releasing hits after hits. Besides music, he is also business man who owns an industry and numerous supermarkets in Kigali, making him one of the richest musicians in Rwanda.

Some of his most likable songs include Poupette, Agatimatima and Pala Pala.
