YAMPANO who was a big fan of  Yvanny Mpano met the singer by surprise, and they recorded a song together.

Real name Florien Uwobizagwira, Yampano has been an artiste since 2017, recording songs but didn’t get release them.

He shared that in 2019, he went on Kigali Record Studio where he met with the singer.

"I was the kind of guy you couldn’t give your time or attention at all. However, I was a very big fan of Yvanny Mpano, especially his song ‘Ndabigukundira’ so I saw him there by surprise and I interpreted his song in his presence.”

Yampano who is so thankful due to all the support that Yvanny Mpano has given him in his music career ever since the day they met. Currently he is under the management label of TB Music Entertainment.

He said "I had a song that I had written when I was still in secondary school and titled it ‘Inzira’. I sang it for Yvanny Mpano who supported me to go to studio. I requested him for a collaboration since we were getting along, then we recorded the song ‘Inzira’.”

After recording that song, they however hesitated to release it as they waited to do its official video but were not financially stable to do so. Yampano, with the help of Yvanny and other artistes, was later signed under TB Music Entertainment.

He recorded other songs like, ‘Priave’, ‘Ni Uwande’ and ‘Cano’ which was released last week. The inspiration came from the scandal between singers Vestine and Dorcas’ mother and their manager Irene Mulindahabi.

After these other songs, Yampano then decided to shoot the video of the song ‘Inzira’, which is out.

‘Inzira’ is a romantic song that talks about relationships and how the partners enjoy their love life.

Yampano told The New Times that making this song with Yvanny Mpano is such an honour that he cherishes a lot.

Yvanny Mpano said that Yampano is a talented and passionate artist and he decided to help him even after the collabo.

"I saw talent in him and I helped him grow it. When he asked me to feature in his song, I welcomed the idea and now the song is out,” he said

Yvanny Mpano also called on other artists who have platforms to help the younger artistes since they know the struggle in the music industry.
