Muhazi Cycling Generation seeks to become ‘more competitive’

Muhazi Cycling Generation Vice President Albert Bizimana has vowed to turn the club into a more competitive team after securing sponsorship from Skol Brewery.

The club signed a deal with the brewery this month. Skol will provide insurance for the riders and team kits.

"We have to move from mid-table status to a winning team. That is our challenge next season. We are going to be competitors, not participants and we want to become more competitive,” Bizimana said.

He added, "We want to build a strong team which will challenge for medals. Winning is our first priority but we know it won’t be easy to compete with the top teams like SACA and Benediction Ignite; nonetheless, we will give it our best shot possible.”

Muhazi Cycling Generation was founded in 2010 to promote talent among the youth.
