In a bid to appreciate their long-term customers MTN has launched a fantastic customer reward offer dubbed "Murakoze Berry”.

Effective this afternoon the first 50 customers with a number starting with 0783 will receive a free Blackberry.

The Mobile Company announced that their 0783 customers will receive the greatly admired mobile phone today afternoon starting at two pm at the MTN centre.

Speaking to the press MTN Senior Manager Sales and Marketing Ms. Yvonne Makolo said: "We wish to appreciate all our valued customers who have been loyal to our services since our roll out. This is our way of saying thank you.”

Makolo remarked that MTN aims at offering their customers with the best value for their money and convenient reliable service is simply not enough.

"We were the first to bring the blackberry to Rwandans and now we are giving it to our customers for free. The blackberry is one of our valued products and it is our honour to pass it on to our customers” she said.

She pointed out that the blackberry will come with a one month free connection and an additional 1,500 Rwf worth of credit.

The move is hoped to renew customer loyalty and to market the extensive services the company is scheduled to introduce later this year.

Blackberry is a mobile phone with a wide range of applications including email; phone, intranet, Internet, text messaging and organizer applications.

The device is currently retailing at between Rwf 300,000 and 400,000.
