On the cover is a picture of happy children at the Mercy Home in Remera. When I look at this picture it tells a lot. They are closely standing together which can mean that they are united.

As children, there are so many things that can divide us. It could be the country you come from, the way you look, how much money you have or which school you go to.

Well, all these things do not mean anything if you are not happy. Being different in fact is very good because it means that you are unique and special.

Never look at any one and judge them by what you see. Like the saying goes, ‘Never judge a book by its cover’, children should learn to appreciate each other and look for the best in others.

As you read this issue you will learn a lot about being united and hoping for the best in your life. You will also understand that as children you all have rights.

Know about your rights so that no one takes advantage of you just because you are a child.
