APR striker Lague Byiringiro is set to go for professional trials with Switzerland topflight division side FC Zurich next month.

Times Sport understands the 20- year-old will travel to the European country for three weeks and will take part in FC Zurich’s partial training from April 9 to 19.

The youngster performed well at the CHAN2021 tournament which took place in Cameroon in January, and it may be the reason why he is getting market abroad.

He can be remembered for the threat he posed against Togo’s defence, as he made his first appearance in the competition, creating some good chances including a pass which Tuyisenge failed to capitalize on.

Locally, the 20-year-old has established himself among APR FC’s top forwards with his skill and speed.
