Rwanda confirms 125 new Covid-19 cases

A total 125 Covid-19 infections were confirmed in Rwanda on Tuesday, March 2, raising the country’s tally of cases to 19,111.

With additional 150 people who recovered from the virus on the same day, overall, 17,472 persons have recovered from Coronavirus.

Tuesday also saw one person succumbing to Covid-19. The country’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 265.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Health’s daily update, there are 8 Covid-19 patients who are critically ill.

The recent Covid-19 update was obtained from 4,578 sample tests taken in the last 24 hours. Overall, the country has collected more than one million tests.
