Ms Joyce Amanda, 20, is a young artiste. Amanda, who goes by her stage name Kitty, is among those few musicians whose music concerts you will attend and leave without any disappointments. Ever since she joined the music industry in 2007, Kitty has proved to be an exceedingly talented and ambitious singer.

Also famous for her hit song ‘Kwemera’, Kitty has staged several concerts, and has positively gained a massive fan base at her tender age. Below she tells us what counts for her perfect weekend:

Personally, I consider a perfect weekend as that time I have fun with my close friends. It’s also that time I go out and share a light moment with my boyfriend.

Often, my perfect weekend involves spending most of the time at home resting, whilst working on my music projects. Though I always fix time and go out with friends, or even visit my relatives.

I don’t delay in bed on weekends, though I don’t normally have much to do in the morning. I wake up at 8: 00a.m and shower. But of course, I’ll first make a prayer before I begin my day.

I love eating fried rice, fish, meat and pizza. And as a matter of fact, this is my favourite dish for a perfect weekend. Despite my status as a musician, I’m still guided by home principles.

And like any girl of my age, and probably due to a very restrictive background, I can’t stay out until late hours of the night. Maybe on some weekends, but still I’ve to be home before midnight.

But provided with chance, I would wish to escape the city for Gisenyi, and spend a day at the beach. I enjoy watching music and movies, especially comedies. So, I hardly miss such programmes on television.

I love singing; sometimes I spend sometime in my bedroom singing to myself. I think it sounds weird, but as a musician, I find it very ok! Now you know what constitutes your star’s perfect weekend.
