Rwanda on Saturday, February 20, confirmed 59 new Covid-19 cases. This raised the country's total number of infections to 17,988.

On the same day, 210 people recovered from the virus. Overall, 16,597 Covid-19 patients have recovered from it.

Rwanda so far has 1,144 active cases of Covid-19. Of these, 14 are in critical condition.

According to the Ministry of Health, the new results were obtained from 4,668 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, two people succumbed to Covid-19. The tally of Covid-19 fatalities in Rwanda stands at 247.
