Covid-19: Rwanda reports no new death after over a month

Rwanda did not register a single Covid-19 death on Saturday, February 13, after more than a month of recording daily fatalities linked to the virus.

The last time the country had not recorded a Covid-19 infection was on December 25, last year.

Overall, 236 have succumbed to the virus in Rwanda.

Meanwhile, 67 people tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday. On the same day, 540 people recovered from the virus.

Of all 30 districts, 12 districts did not report a single Covid-19 case. This is according to results obtained from 4,330 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours.

In total, the country has confirmed 17,267 positive cases, of whom 14,477 have already recovered.

Meanwhile, the country has 14 patients who are in critical condition.
