Covid-19: Rwanda reports 130 infections, over 400 recoveries

Rwanda confimed 130 new Covid-19 cases and 401 recoveries on Wednesday, February 10.

Obtained from 4,963 sample tests collected in the last 24 hours, the new results raised the total number of confirmed cases to 16,941 and recoveries to 13,389.

According to the Ministry of Health, the new cases were identified in 19 districts of the 30 that make-up the country. Kigali reported the highest number of infections on Tuesday- 39. 

Meanwhile, Musanze, Gatsibo and Burera districts reported a single Covid-19 case each.

On the same day, three people succumbed to Covid-19. So far, overall, Rwanda has registered 229 fatalities.

Meanwhile, the country has 18 patients in critical condition.
