Covid-19: Rwanda reports three more fatalities

Rwanda registered more Covid-19 deaths on Saturday, January 9. The deceased are three men aged 50, 65 and 74.

The fatalities are now 118.

Meanwhile, on the same day, out of 4,189 tests taken in the last 24 hours, 93 new infections were confirmed country-wide, raising the tally of reported positive cases to 9,461.

Of the new patients, 43 were found in Kigali, 13 in Huye district, 12 in Musanze district, five in Rulindo district, whereas Rubavu, Rwamagana, Karongi and Nyagatare districts confirmed four infections each.

Muhanga, Nyaruguru, Ruhango and Nyamasheke reported a single Covid-19 case respectively.

Rwanda has 2,387 active cases of Covid-19, others have recovered from the virus.

Overall, 765, 086 Covid-19 tests have been conducted nation-wide since the oubreak hit the country.
