AS Kigali head coach Eric Nshimiyimana has already set his sights on winning the first leg of the 2020/2021 Total CAF Confederations Cup tie against Uganda side Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).

The tie is expected to be played on the weekend of December 22-23 at Kigali stadium, Nyamiramabo.

Eric Nshimiyimana who has been coach of AS Kigali for over 6 years says his team will make sure they utilize home advantage when the two sides clash later this month.

"KCCA is a very good side with good quality players. My plan is to start watching videos of their matches to gauge their style of play and tactics. We have to make good use of home advantage if this team is to progress,” the 45 year-old said.

AS Kigali overturned a 2-1 win that they suffered in the first leg against Orapa in Botswana, by winning the return leg 1-0 through a solitary goal that was scored by Nigerian striker Lawal Aboubakal in the latter stages of the match on Sunday.

Last year, AS Kigali, were knocked out in the Confederations Cup first round qualifiers by Proline FC of Uganda.
