Saturday APR vs Gor Mahia (Kigali Stadium, 3:30pm)

APR striker Jacques Tuyisenge says facing his former club Gor Mahia will be a special moment but warned that there will be ‘no mercy’.

The towering forward however revealed that he will not celebrate if he scores.

"We are going to mean serious business – fighting for a win,” he told Times Sport. "It is going to be a special moment, and of course accompanied by a lot of pressure,” Tuyisenge said

The 29-year-old played for Gor Mahia for three years and scored 50 goals.

"Personally I will not celebrate if I score, but I am going to give it my best to win the game. It is a very important game for us because we want to take a good lead in the return leg.”

The last time Gor Mahia played against APR was in 2008 during the Confederation Cup where the army side beat K'Ogalo 6-0 on aggregate.

APR is looking to shine in the upcoming Caf Champions League as the army side looks to reach the competition’s group stage for the first time.

Should the black-and-white outfit reach the lustrous group stage, they will be the first Rwandan side to achieve the feat.
